The Entertainment Guide

Visited on a busy Saturday evening for a drinks and a meal with friends. The place looks like a traditional pub from the outside, but once through the door it's modern and all open plan. The dining area is to the right and round to the back. As it was so busy the noise level was quite high, so we were pleased that we were given a table in the "back corner" to give us a chance to speak to each other, but we could hear the loud ladies at the next table! Service was good, although our drinks order was asked for by 3 different servers. They offer a good selection of wine and cocktails. The food is "traditional", with specials and we all enjoyed our selections. The prices are good for what you get. We didn't hang around for dessert or coffee, but chose to go round the corner to a quieter place to talk!

Seven of us had dinner here tonight for one of our birthdays. All of the food was exceptionally good and the service was excellent. Amongst us we tried various starters, then the fish and chips, steak pie, burger, sausages & mash and the fillet steak roast dinner. There wasn't one single complaint and the empty plates spoke for themselves. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic! Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious and great portion sizes. A large starter to share, two mains and four pints of Guinness came to £48, very happy. Would definitely recommend.
