Beancross is a restaurant where everyone is made to feel welcome, from families to couples seeking a quiet bite. The restaurant, situated at Polmont near Falkirk, is divided into four areas. The Horse Engine, inspired by the equine sculptures that are known as The Kelpies, is characterised by high ceilings and open space. The Bistro, with its high back chairs and fireplaces, is a more intimate dining setting, The Cafe Bar is suited to informal dining and then there’s Animal Antics. Situated close to the soft play area, this dining room is ideal for families. Through the week, Beancross offers three courses for a fixed price, with a selection of soups, sandwiches and salads. In the evenings, the more ambitious dishes come to the fore; look out for chargrilled pork loin, cajun chicken, gammon steak and fresh fish. Homemade desserts top things off nicely, including a cheesecake of the day and a selection of classic sweets. With multiple rooms and acres of space, it’s no surprise that Beancross also hosts themed nights. Party nights are hosted with Barbara Bryceland, one of Scotland’s top female singers, with Beancross offering groups seeking a girly night out or some family fun the prospect of a three-course dinner, with live show and dancing to follow. Away from all the entertainment, The Millennium Suite serves as a purpose-built events space that is ideal for corporate meetings. It features a stage, audiovisual facilities and a dedicated bar. There’s a lot going on at Beancross – come along and take a look.

Tasty selection of food, friendly staff, good value, what\'s not to like? Ideal for families too as there is a soft play area. There's also a bar with a few TVs to catch up on some sports. My wife and I had our wedding reception in the large hall. It was a great night, plenty of space for seats and tables, plenty of space for dancing, plenty of places to get away from the party to catch your breath too. The price of drink was good. I've been to a few receptions where guests have bought a round and didn't go back to the bar again because of the extortionate prices. Not a problem at the Beancross. The staff are also friend and very well organised whether it's having a meal or organising a wedding.
