Coppertop is a family-friendly restaurant where everyone is made to feel welcome. The Falkirk establishment, which has been extensively refurbished, provides comfortable seating and plenty of space in which to stretch out. Wood flooring and gleaming taps give the restaurant the feel of a gastropub, reinforced by the bar that greets patrons as they step through Coppertop’s doors. With a focus on families, the restaurant is reasonably priced; most main courses are less than a tenner and include a good range of classic dishes. In addition to steaks and burgers, a Southern selection includes cajun chicken, ribs and a new addition – BBQ pulled pork. Served with spring onion mash, homemade coleslaw and BBQ beans, it’s proven unsurprisingly popular. A kids’ menu is also available, while a lunch snack menu runs six days a week, populated with soup and sandwich deals and baked potatoes. Service is brisk but friendly and the restaurant runs seasonal menus to freshen up its regular offerings. Whether it’s the Autumn Select or Christmas Fayre menu you’re browsing, there’ll be something new to try. Take the family, grab a table and tuck in to some proper home cooking in a proper pub.
