I've just returned from a 2 night break with my friend and we enjoyed every second. It's not cheap, but it is great value for money. Every member of staff we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Every time I visit there is something new to see, so clearly there is lots of investment in ensuring that guests needs and expectations are met. Hadn't been for about 3 years so I loved the new hot tubs, the relaxation room and the cocktail bar. Wasn't quite brave enough to try the lady wash in the new ladies room though - maybe next time! The food was great and the choices ensured there was something for everyone. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The feeling of relaxation was there from the minute we arrived and we're already planning our next trip. I really don't relate to the negative reviews I've seen here. It's 5 star service from start to finish.

Had a great time, went as a group of girls for an evening escape package which was very relaxing. The outdoor hot tubs were closed but the provided us with a couple bottles for champagne because we couldn't use them which was very good. Had a really lovely night.

A really relaxing stay at Stobo. The spa is undergoing some upgrades at the moment, so the steam room was closed but the new sauna was lovely and seems the rest will benefit from the refresh. The service was good and all staff very friendly. Our room was good but we weren't in there much! Most of our time was spent in the spa. The food is good and they have a separate gluten free menu. There were two veggie options at dinner and lunch but I feel the dinner ones could be more filling. There's no bar as such, but they do serve booze if you want it in both the drawing room after dinner or in the spa cafe until 11 and they have a nice range of cocktails.
