Paisley’s Lagoon Leisure Centre is a world of water fun that provides a thoroughly enjoyable day out for all the family. The centre is a sporting adventure playground replete with numerous activities, events and attractions all vying for your attention. The leisure pool, with its flume and wave machine, is always a popular draw with the kids, though a separate teaching pool is also provided for more serious swimmers. The Lagoon Leisure Centre also offers 7-a-side football, hockey, a fitness suite, health and beauty rooms, a dance centre and coffee shop. A six-court sports hall, with seating for 360 spectators, provides the perfect setting for competitions and events. Although the Lagoon Leisure Centre are serious about sports, they haven’t forgotten how to have fun either, with games and activities laid on for children. As well as conventional sports, there are classes in Cheerleading, Trampolining and a Drama School. Birthday parties are readily catered for, and a soft play area is provided for smaller children. You don’t have to be sports mad to visit the Lagoon Leisure Centre however - with so much on offer here, you can partake or simply observe and shout encouragement.

We got a lovely welcome at reception and got booked in very quickly for 3 adults and 2 children for a swim and given directions as our first visit. Initial observation was how clean the areas were and was delighted with locker area as very spacious plenty room to move around and free use of hairdryer and chairs to sit at very thoughtful and appreciated. It was a real pleasure to go in for swim as water warm so used to other pools being cold, the children had great time loved the flumes and use of floats lots fun. We will be back again as did not have enough time to use the cafe but it looked very good and had lot customers in. Good visit for kids parents and grandparents.
