Cambridge Science Centre has everything you need for a great day out with the family. It holds interactive exhibitions, workshops and shows for families and young curious minds. The centre, located on Jesus Lane, is the city's first interactive science museum and was formally opened by the Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University, LeszekBorysiewicz, in February 2013. Its first exhibition dealt with the electromagnetic spectrum and principles of sound and hearing. Its target audience is families and schools, particularly children between 7 and 14 years old. Since 2013, over 75,000 visitors have been welcomed to Cambridge Science Centre and more through its outreach work into communities. It prides itself on offering exceptional shows, workshops and unique exhibits which allow anyone to tap into their playful and inquisitive nature. Because Cambridge has such a strong history and future in scientific and technology innovation, it is the perfect place to introduce families, children, young pupils and teachers and to engage companies and their employees in real-life science communication. The centre has hosted countless birthday parties, as well as networking events and even a wedding reception.

Great workshops. Great social distancing, very Covid secure - we loved it! Thank you so much!
We took our 5 year old and we all absolutely loved it. The staff were really helpful and keen to make science enjoyable. We spent a couple of hours but could easily have stayed longer. Heartily recommended.
Great little place to take kids with lots of interactive and fun displays as well as regular live talks throughout the day.
