The Westbourne is a traditional pub that’s undergone extensive renovation, turning it into a tech hub complete with an unusual wall of ales available to pour yourself. Come try the self-serve beer wall and table top taps, with seven different lagers and ciders to choose from. The independent, family-run pub was established in 2006 on the fringe of Swansea city centre and immediately became famous as the home of Wales' first self-pour beer taps. All through the week there are various events and themed nights including a quiz every Tuesday from 8:30pm that’s only 50p per person to enter and comes with cash and spot prizes. The best thing about The Westbourne however is the innovative way in which it obviates the need to queue at the bar. Set up a tab and order drinks and snacks to your table from one of the tabletop iPads. There are also live webcams that are available during opening hours. We've used this service a few times during Lockdown. Really well organised. Order on line and select your collection time. Pay on arrival by card. Very generous portions. Plenty of meat. Great variety of vegetables. Clear reheating instructions. Extremely tasty. Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you very much!
