Everything from light snacks to rotisserie chicken is served up here, delivered with the sort of flair, panache and rich flavour that characterises French cooking. Situated on the lower ground floor of 12 St Vincent Place, Atlantic Bar and Brasserie is tucked away beneath The Anchor Line. The restaurant’s kitchen is kitted out with a Robata grill as well as the rotisserie that has seen discerning diners travelling from far and wide to sample a succulent slice of French cooking. On Sundays, roast chicken with all the trimmings is the order of the day, while the a la carte menu sees no end of action during the week. From French onion soup to moules and frites, Atlantic Bar and Brasserie will leave you smacking your lips contentedly. All food should taste this good.

This was my second visit. We were using vouchers for a set menu plus cocktail. Sometimes voucher deal meals feel a little 'second class ', but not in this place. The portions were ample, and the choice wide enough for us all to have something we really enjoyed. The service was prompt and attentive, and the staff cheerful and relaxed. We had an excellent, good value meal, in top quality surroundings. I can't think of any critical comment to make. I'll be back soon to try out some of the delights of the 'big' menu.
Had a 5pm voucher for a whole rotisserie chicken for 2 along with 3 sharing sides and 3 sharing desserts followed by coffee and tablet - great value. The chicken was so moist delicious with the sides al dente perfection! No need for starters complete meal very filling. We always have the house sauvignon blanc from France very good for the price. The staff both front of house and serving are very efficient and friendly. The restaurant itself has tables well apart from each other to give privacy, there is also a bar just off the restaurant which serves good wine and tasty cocktails. Although a late lunch the restaurant was still fairly busy and had a buzzing atmosphere.
