The Bieldside Inn is a well-regarded Aberdeen establishment, situated a few miles west of the city. Follow North Deeside Road and eventually you’ll pass the grey granite building that forms Bieldside’s favourite watering hole. The pub is run by PB Devco, whose string of prestigious local nightspots includes Soul, The Forum and The Howff. The Bielder, as it is affectionately known, draws in a mixed crowd through the week; football fans looking to quench their thirst while catching the live Premiership action in the bar as well as local families keen to leave the cooking to someone else for the evening. The menu, which is regularly updated, draws upon pub classics and traditional Scottish fare. The quality is a cut above the usual pub grub, and priced so that a night out feels like a treat without seeming extravagant. Through the week, drinks and meal deals are available, while on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, a set menu promises three courses plus a glass of bubbly. The Inn is also equipped with a function room and private bar that is used for wine tastings, parties and corporate events.

Very nice food, friendly and fast service. Nice layout of the restaurant. Great place for a catch up lunch with friends or informal business.
