Welcome to Orton Grange Cafe and Gifts. Orton Grange Cafe & Gifts Limited began in 2003, based on a 360 acre dairy farm, around four miles from Carlisle on the A595 towards Wigton and West Cumbria. As well as our Cafe and Gift Shop, Orton Grange Retail Park is home to The Shearing Shed Hair Salon, The Loft Beauty Rooms, Cranstons Food Hall & Carlisle Swim School. Here at Orton Grange all our food is available for takeaway and we offer our stunning Afternoon teas’ which include a variety of farmhouse sandwiches, homemade quiche, sausage rolls, homemade scones with jam & cream and a variety of sponge cakes and tray bakes and we have wooden display boards and baskets for hire for your special events too. We also offer Picnic packages, the picnic boxes are for 2 people, so why not ‘pick one up on your way through to the lakes’.

Orton Grange Cafe has friendly staff, a beautiful interior and is spotlessly clean, but like so many others have said, the prices are too high and the food isn't value for money. £ 3.50 for a small piece of cake and £ 3.20 for a coffee is OTT, considering other cafes in the area charge considerably less. I won't be coming back due to the high prices for mediocre food and others have said Orton Grange Cafe charges over the odds for small sized meals. This cafe, which is part of a well liked food hall specialising in local produce, should maybe look at cutting their prices to reflect what other places charge in the area as they'll lose custom.
