Swoon have gathered some of the finest ingredients from the local area and the warmer climes of Sicily to create their own delicious gelato. Everything is created from scratch by Swoon’s chefs using a slow churning process to ensure a divine velvety texture in their iced treats. For the health-conscious, gelato is a great alternative to traditional ice cream, containing 50% less fat, but with even more creamy deliciousness and flavoursome taste. New creations are continually dreamt up in Swoon’s Flavor Lab, and regular new additions and seasonal “guest flavours” often appear on the tempting menu, providing lots of variety. As well as gelato and sorbets, you can order freshly brewed Neapolitan coffee, rich Swoon gelato shakes, Bluebird teas and other hot and cold drinks. Regular customers can make the most of their frequent visits by signing up for a loyalty card and earning points toward extra treats. For a special occasion, beautifully decorated gelato cakes are available, made to order and personalised – perfect for a unique and mouth watering party feature sure to impress your guests.

It sounds as if I'm over exaggerating, but I cannot express enough how incredible this place was. I was very close to dropping it to a 4 star, however, due to the price...it did cost me £7.30 (with 10% student discount) for 4 scoops of ice cream...pretty steep. But the quality is the reason, I had a taster of the Tiramisu and HAD to have it. All the flavour of tiramisu was there, I cannot recommend it enough! Honestly, you HAVE to try it. I also had the coffee flavour, which of course was delicious too. My partner had two scoops of Mango Sorbet, because she can't have diary, but there is a rather large selection of diary-free ice cream, even vegan available. The sorbet had so much mango in it, it was thick and full of flavour, they definitely didn't scrimp on the mango! If you love ice cream, give this place a go! You'll love it. I'm certain. Finally, the man who served us was so lovely.
