Located just off the cosmopolitan Perth Road, you’ll realise you’ve found a hidden gem as you walk down its entrance stairs. The only nightclub in Dundee open seven nights a week, it offers free entry before 11 o’clock every evening. Not only is it popular for its reasonable entry fee and stylish decor; no, Underground hosts some of the best nights in the city. This is the place to go for Dubstep, Indie and Hip Hop: you’ll find chart toppers on Wednesdays as it’s their famous student night, but any other evening and you’re in for an alternative treat. Home to names such as DJ Fabuloz, Hally-B and Charlie Duthie, Underground has got decent music and remixes covered. On Saturdays you’ll also find drinks at £1, so you can opt for quality as well as a cheap night out.
