Caledonia Gladiators

The Caledonia Gladiators (formerly Glasgow Rocks) bring basketball to Scotland, as the nation’s only professional team. They often play at the 7000-capacity, custom-built sports stadium, Emirates Arena. The world-class facilities at Emirates Arena are second to none. This purpose-built main venue for the 2014 Commonwealth Games houses one of the largest gyms in Glasgow. To make game day extra special, you can purchase one of the ‘experiences’, providing signed mementoes, photos with the team, souvenir programmes and more. Or if a young fan is celebrating a birthday, you can arrange a celebration party package. The Rocks have a long history as major players in the sport for over two decades. The club comprises Lady Rocks, Gladiator Rocks, Rocks Juniors and the Glasgow Rocks Wheelchair Team. They also work with Glasgow Kelvin College to run a basketball academy, to combine sport with education.
