City Harbour Chinese offers a buffet style dining experience, which is open seven days a week for a speedy lunch or indulgent dinner. Lunch is always priced at £6.50 for adults and £3.25 for children during the week, and dinner only £11.95 and £6.50 respectively. Come at the weekend, and the price is only £7.50 during lunch and £13.95 in the evening, so all in all, the selection on offer is certainly value for money. There are no less than 30 starters to choose from, and a similar range of mains to get stuck into. Chicken, duck, prawns, pork, beef or vegetables: whatever you fancy City Harbour will have an abundance of dishes for you to try. A particular favourite is their deep fried pork chops in panko bread crumbs, a Japanese speciality that they’ve borrowed to make your mouth water.

Had a buffet lunch yesterday and was applauded at the poor standard of this once very good place. I should have turned back when I saw a "chef" standing smoking at the back door and too be honest I thought I could smell smoke on the food. The food was heavily salted and drinks over priced to compensate for offering reasonable value on the surface for the food indeed if it wasn't bland or deep fried to a crisp. No sorry will not be back and I will tell everybody I know in the office to avoid. A poor show and perhaps a failing Restaurant which is sad as it was always so very good in days gone by. And on a final note the guy who snatched our money should try and smile. Not happy and won't be back.

The best value buffet full stop, selection quality and service, drinks a wee bit steep but overall perfect.
