My wife and I visited during the Largs Viking Festival and this is definitely very well worth a visit and I am happy to recommend it as a must see if ever visiting Largs. I learned all aspects about vikings and their way of life. The guide was very informative, from life in a viking long house to their Gods and beliefs. The visit took just over an hour and there were many interactive parts which children would enjoy. If visiting Largs, don't miss it!
