Printworks is a buzzing, entertainment and leisure complex located in the heart of Manchester City Centre’s retail district. Positioned right next door to the AO-Arena, National Football Museum and Arndale Centre on Exchange Square, Printworks is alive with activity seven days a week. Be it with early morning gym classes at Nuffield Health or late-night get-togethers with friends at one of Manchester’s biggest & best nightclubs, Cargo. Or why not even try your hand at axe throwing at one of the most recent venues, Boom Battle Bar.
Since being redeveloped in 2000 from a famous publishing house, it is known as being one of Manchester’s most iconic venues. Printworks now houses a recently refurbished state-of-the-art 20 screen Vue cinema, fully equipped gym complete with swimming pool, and 20+ bars, restaurants and unique leisure offering such as Tenpin bowling and Treetop mini golf. The iconic Manchester Printworks is currently undergoing a £20m digital refurbishment with the intention of reaffirming Printworks on the international stage as a unique all-round entertainment and leisure attraction. This will include the introduction of Europe’s largest indoor digital ceiling, with immersive interactive digital gaming and creative shows.

We visited Printworks as a girl group for Galentine's Day and had a delicious meal & cocktails at Chiquito, watched the Magic Mike film at Vue in the new recliner seats (which were awesome!), and then had some more cocktails and a dance at Boom Battle Bar. We had a great evening and didn't even need to go anywhere else! Will definitely be coming back to Printworks for more get-togethers!
Visited to go to the cinema and have something to eat. Plenty of places to choose from - Frankie and Bennies, Hard Rock Cafe, Nandos etc. We had a lovely meal in Prezzo and then went to watch a film. Like the Printworks as it's never too rammed or full of drunks!
