A firm favourite with families across the north-east, Codona’s Amusements offer a fantastic day out for everyone. The entertainment park has a number of indoor and outdoor rides and attractions, with something to suit the whole family. Rides include the White Water Log Flume - so prepare to get a little bit wet - and a spooky Haunted Mansion complete with strange creatures and lurking monsters. There’s the Looping Star Rollercoaster and Disco Waltzers for the brave, and a number of prize stalls to win that special souvenir. Prepare to fly through the air with the Galleon Family Pirate Ship, and hold on tight whilst you reach incredible heights at speed. Indoors, there’s ten-pin bowling and Rambo’s Adventureland, so you won’t be disappointed if the Aberdeen weather takes a turn for the worse. Congo Golf and Pirate Island comprises three giant jungle trees, complete with tikki tree-huts and ancient stone warriors; you’ll even encounter a cascading waterfall and a 25ft erupting volcano. There’s plenty to choose from when you’re hungry, including the Ceramic Cafe, Sunset Diner, Congo Bar and Wimpy restaurant; all in all, it’s a pretty busy day out!
