hosts exciting, bespoke events throughout the year.
Fully accessible to wheelchairs, the centre also has
a gift shop so you can pick up some souvenirs, a
cafe serving drinks and sandwiches and a picnic

CRAIGIEVAR CASTLE
Craigievar Castle looks like something from a
fairy tale, which may be why it’s rumoured to have
inspired Walt Disney’s creation of Cinderella’s
iconic castle. Pale pink in colour and complete with
medieval turrets it’s a building that’s rich in history.
The grounds are open all year round during the
hours of daylight, while the castle can be entered
between April and September - there’s no electricity
in most of the castle, meaning that all artefacts,
objects and art must be viewed only by natural light,
bringing an extra level of authenticity to the visit,
but some limitations. Unlike similar attractions, you
can’t wander around by yourself as guided tours
are mandatory and there’s good news for National
Trust Members who get in for free. The castle can
be hired for special events and is understandably
popular as a wedding venue. Whatever the reason
for your visit, an enchanting welcome awaits.
