Located by the River Dee, RGU: Sport is situated
right at the heart of Robert Gordon University’s
Garthdee Campus. Open to staff, students and the
public, RGU: Sport features a modern six-lane, 25m
deck-level swimming pool with a depth range of 1.2m
to 2.0m, complete with anti-wave lane ropes. The
pool is an asset for swimming clubs and individuals
alike and caters for club training, family fun time and
group exercise aqua aerobics. A recently installed
state-of-the-art fitness area in what was once studio
2 includes treadmills, cross-trainers, stationary bikes
and a range of resistance machines, providing a total
body workout. Fitlinxx has also been incorporated
into G2, allowing you to continue tracking your
training regardless of which fitness area you are
using. To complement the Fitness Area and G2, the
Conditioning Room has 4 Olympic lifting platforms
(generously donated by the Grampian Institute of
Sport) and an extensive range of free weights.
